As anticipation continues to build ahead of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2026™, the 24 participating teams have announced their official squads, which are brimming with promising prospects keen to make their mark at the global competition.

The tournament field includes four-time champions DPR Korea, who will be aiming to defend their crown, and Spain, who have twice tasted glory. The two nations went head-to-head in the final of FIFA’s women’s U-20 showpiece last month, with the European heavyweights ultimately prevailing on penalties. Meanwhile, Argentina, Australia and Puerto Rico are preparing to make their FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup™ debuts and will be eager to prove that they belong on the global stage.

The participating nations, who represent the cream of the crop from all six confederations, will line up in a sextet of groups. The top two from each group, along with the four best third-placed sides, will progress to the knockout stage.

The tenth instalment of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, this year’s tournament will be the second of five consecutive editions to be staged in Morocco. The event will build on the success of last year’s competition, which was the first since the switch to an annual and 24-team format. All matches up to and including the semi-finals will be played across four pitches at Rabat’s Football Complex Mohammed VI. The bronze final and the trophy decider will be contested at the Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium, which is also located in the Moroccan capital, on 7 November.

The full match schedule is available on FIFA.com, and fans can secure their spot in the stands at fifa.com/tickets.
